Went to see it (finally) yesterday. It is quite good. Ben Affleck and Diane Lane are really good. Adrian Brody is not as bad as I had read. It is exactly what EW said -- a B+ movie. Worth seeing and getting on DVD.

A Bit of News

Ben Affleck won the best actor prize at the Venice Film Festival for his role as George Reeves in "Hollywoodland." He's receving lots of critical acclaim for this performance.

The Biography Channel has a show on George Reeves coming up this month -- I think Sept 20 or something like that.

An animated movie Christopher Reeve worked on called Everyone's Hero is coming out soon.

News on Reeve's Superman DVD Box Set

Here's some news on the 14-disc box set of the Christopher Reeve Superman box set coming out Nov. 28 (same day as the Superman Returns DVD).

Funny

Only tangentially related to Superman, but this ranking of best and worsts in Hollywood is very amusing if you're into the movie biz. The Superman relationship is the ranking of Bret Ratner who was at one time slated to direct. Thank goodness he did not. What a hack!
